This English version is a translation provided for convenience. The French version is the binding one and prevails in case of discrepancy.
1. Data controller
The controller of the personal data collected through Sweengs (the "Service") is the publisher identified in the Legal notice (in French). Contact: contact@sweengs.com.
2. Data collected
- Account: e-mail address, username, technical identifier, collected at sign-up through our authentication provider Clerk.
- Usage data: application settings (strategy, simulated capital, watchlists, simulated trades, notification preferences), log of simulated positions.
- Push notifications: the browser push subscription token, if you enable notifications.
- Mailing list: e-mail address and, where applicable, the plan you are interested in, if you sign up from the website to receive the results of tested strategies and to be notified when access opens.
- Beta feedback: your answers to the feedback surveys, together with your account identifier, e-mail address, the page you came from and your language, if you choose to answer.
- Usage measurement: pages viewed and actions in the application (scan launched, position opened, e-mail sent), linked to your account identifier and your plan, through PostHog. No cookie and no local storage: the measurement lives in memory for the duration of the page.
- Technical data: server logs (IP address, timestamp) for security and proper operation.
No banking data is collected. The Service does not connect to any real brokerage account: the positions managed in the application are simulations.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Provision of the Service (account, saving your settings and simulations): performance of the contract (Terms).
- Notifications (price alerts, signals, weekly report): consent, revocable at any time in the settings.
- Mailing list (sending the results of tested strategies, information about access opening): consent, withdrawn in one click from the unsubscribe link in every message.
- Beta feedback (improving the Service): consent, given by answering a survey.
- Usage measurement and improvement of the Service (PostHog): legitimate interest. You may object at any time by writing to contact@sweengs.com.
- Security and abuse prevention (logs, rate limiting): legitimate interest.
No sale of data, no targeted advertising, no commercial profiling.
4. Processors and transfers outside the EU
The Service relies on the following providers:
- Clerk, Inc. (United States): authentication and account management.
- Railway Corporation (United States): application hosting.
- Turso / Iku, Inc. (United States): application database.
- Financial Modeling Prep, Twelve Data: market data (no personal data is sent to them).
- Anthropic: generation of analysis content by language model; only market data and your strategy settings are sent, never your identity.
- Tally (Belgium, hosted in the European Union): beta feedback surveys.
- Resend, Inc. (United States): sending of the Service's e-mails (alerts, recaps, surveys); receives your e-mail address and the content of the message.
- PostHog, Inc. (hosted in the European Union, Frankfurt): usage measurement of the application.
Where these providers are located in the United States, transfers are governed by standard contractual clauses and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, depending on the provider.
5. Retention
- Account and usage data: for the life of the account, then deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
- Technical logs: 12 months at most.
- Push subscriptions: until notifications are disabled or the account is deleted.
- Beta feedback: for the duration of the beta and twelve months after it ends.
- Usage measurement: twelve months at most.
6. Cookies and local storage
The Service uses only cookies and local storage that are strictly necessary: authentication session (Clerk), interface preferences (theme, language). No advertising cookie is set, and usage measurement (PostHog) sets neither cookie nor local storage.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of your data. To exercise them: contact@sweengs.com. Response within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
8. Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Authentication is delegated to Clerk (passwords are never stored by the Service). Database access is restricted by tokens.
9. Minors
The Service is restricted to adults.
10. Changes
Any substantial change to this policy will be notified in the application. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page.
