It filters the universe
2,291 stocks, filtered by market cap, liquidity and trend, then ranked by signal strength. Three markets: United States, Canada, United Kingdom.
Swing trading scanner
Every evening, 2,291 stocks from the US, Canadian and UK markets run through your rules. What comes out is not a list of symbols: it is a complete signal, with its entry, its stop, its two targets and the position size derived from your capital.
Free during the open beta, no credit card. Sweengs never places an order and never connects to a broker.
A stock screener returns tickers. You set forty filters, you get three hundred rows, and all the work is still ahead of you: read each chart, place a stop, decide how much to buy. In the evening, after the close, nobody does that properly on three hundred names.
A swing trading scanner flips the logic. You pick a strategy, written in advance with its entry and exit conditions. The scanner applies it to the whole universe and returns only the matches, each already priced out. You no longer review a list, you review plans.
For each stock retained: the entry price and its condition (a pivot breakout, a bounce on a moving average), the stop placed on a price structure and expressed as risk, a first target where half the position exits, a second one followed with a trailing stop, and the number of shares to buy so that the maximum loss stays the one you accept.
A score ranks signals against each other: trend strength, distance to the 52-week high, volume relative to its average. The scan runs server-side, every trading day, and you get the results even with the app closed.
Not from a hunch. The rules follow published research: the momentum effect of Jegadeesh and Titman (1993), the 52-week high of George and Hwang (2004), the 200-day moving average as a trend filter. The app cites thirteen papers, each attached to the strategy it grounds, and also shows the ones whose evidence is thin. Our own tests, including the ones that prove us wrong, are published on the Verdicts page.
You can also build your own rules and measure them first with the ten-year backtest. Nothing gets scanned that has not been measured.

Entry, stop, two targets, position size. Risk is computed before the entry, never after.
No order placed, no broker connected, no personalised advice. The levels are measurements; the plan is yours.
The United States, Canada and the United Kingdom: 2,291 stocks filtered by market cap and liquidity. Continental Europe and developed Asia are ready on the technical side and will be switched on with the data provider upgrade.

No. Conditions are built from the interface: moving averages, RSI, new-high breakout, volume. No code.
